My school recently advertised for a computing teacher with no applicants and a number of surrounding schools are either readvertising or choosing to leave the positions vacant.
My fear is that schools may start using pack of teachers to start running departments into the ground in an effort to get rid of what is quite an expensive subject to run infrastructure wise.
Are schools outside of Aberdeenshire experiencing the same thing? We had to hire a BS teacher to take my junior classes while I just concentrate on the certificates courses.
