    Hi guys,

In Glow we’ve just set up a complete XNA Games Design course covering 2D and 3D games with all the game files, source code and tutorial videos.

We also have a 12 step video tutorial for covering an introduction to Blender.

All this content is available from the Consolarium Glow Group (https://portal.glowscotland.org.uk/establishments/nationalsite/Consolarium/Lists/Pages/Games%20Design.aspx).

    Sorry Graham,

We have to put the XNA materials behind some sort of secure access so Glow is the obvious place nationally (we got the course from Microsoft exclusively for Scottish pupils).

Some of our other materials will also be going on our BlipTV channel which you might find easier to access.

One of the issues people raise about GLOW is that there is very little content in it which Computing teachers can use. We are trying to change that by producing and making available as many rich, appropriate and relevant resources relating to our games design remit as we can.

Games design isn’t just for Computing teachers but it does have significant relevance for Computing and many of our resources will, hopefully, be useful for Computing teachers.

Hopefully, you might be able to get your Glow access by contacting the Glow team in your authority and mentioning that you want to access these resources.

If I can help you with that letter know.
