I’m investigating if anyone in schools around Scotland have been using apple hardware/software products or apps for their teaching/lessons? If so can I ask what you use and what for?

We have recently purchased an iBook. So far it has been used in the Audio section of the Int II multimedia unit, it allowed the pupils to compare and contrast Audacitiy and GarageBand. We will also used it for the video section, using iMovie.

We have also started devloping iBooks for notes and projects using iBookAuthor.

The plan is to allow some of our Int II pupils and Higher pupils to have a shot on Xcode, allowing them to develop iphone apps. This will not be simple but we feel our pupils will enjoy it.

I meant a MacBook Pro (not an iBook)!
