Computing Science teaching vacancy

    My apologies for putting this on the N5 forum but it seems to be the most popular area of the site at the moment.

    We have a vacancy for a temporary full time Computing Science teacher at Douglas Academy, Milngavie, starting in August. Temporary due to the current freeze in promoted posts in East Dunbartonshire.

    Large Computing Science department with 4 full time teachers, Computing Science classes in S1 and S2, 4 sections in S3, 3 in S4, S5/6 N5 class, 3 full Higher Sections and a list of 26 pupils for our Advanced Higher class.

    The position is listed in myjobscotland with a closing date for applications 09/06/2017.

    I did my probation year with Nicky at Douglas Academy over a decade ago and I can’t speak highly enough of this department. It was a fantastic year with lovely children, great colleagues throughout the school and wonderful support from Nicky and the other staff in the department. Get applying! 🙂
