In preparation for new Higher, I am considering Outcome 3 of SDD where the candidate must analyse one current trend in the development of intelligent systems.
I wanted to ask opinions on whether an intelligent system need merely make decisions based on input from the outside world gathered through sensors, or whether some aspect of learning and memory must also be present?
