Normalisation

Hi, was wondering if anybody could give me advice about what is required regarding teaching normalisation in Higher?

I fairly sure that normalisation is not expect at higher. I say this very hopefully. 🙂

Perhaps someone can come back with a definitive answer.

There is no requirement for teaching Normalisation, it is not assessed, and there are no questions in the exam. It does not appear in mandatory information in the course specification document. http://www.sqa.org.uk/files_ccc/CfE_CourseAssessSpec_Higher_Technologies_ComputingScience.pdf

I think it’s a loss, and I don’t feel they know as much as they need to without it, but it is not required.
