Does anyone have something like Greg’s excellent Programming Challenges (N4&5) book except for Higher?

I am looking for something to keep one of my better pupils busy 🙂

Depending on how good they are you could have a look at problems from the British Informatics Olympiad for some ideas?

I have been using the old coursework tasks to try and keep it within the course boundaries. Although the tasks on http://www.olympiad.org.uk/problems.html do look fun 🙂

Thanks for the compliment.

I’m trying to finish writing a commercial booklet using those challenges (with some worked examples, computational thinking puzzles as well and solutions) but adding subroutines at the end of the booklet.  Might be another few weeks though.  And it will be written specifically for Python as well (although you could just use the problems).

Does anyone have copies of the old Higher coursework tasks? The olympiad problems look good, but I could see pupils getting lost in some of those for weeks. As flawed as some of the old coursework tasks were, at least they are probably more appropriately challenging.
