    Hi folks,

This above document has been released reducing the amount of assessment standards that candidates must overtake in unit assessments, with the hope of reducing the re-assessment burden (“It should be noted that there will still be the requirement for candidates to be given the opportunity to meet all Assessment Standards. The above threshold has been put in place to reduce the volume of re-assessment, where that is required.”)

Hope this is welcome news. It does make me consider further my response to the recent news on EIS balloting members: http://www.eis.org.uk/public.asp?id=3324&dbase=2

    Regards,

    David

I don’t think that this even begins to address the workload and assessment burden that the courses require. The volume of assessment and the volume of marking needs to be adjusted still. It has not made me reconsider my opinion on the upcoming ballot.
