    The SAoL progression grid for Technologies at http://www.educationscotland.gov.uk/learningandteaching/assessment/progressandachievement/significantaspectsoflearning/curriculum/technologies/progress.asp for 3 of the Computing Science topics.

    Is there a more up-to-date version somewhere, or are we still just being kept in the dark about what we are supposed to assess?

    I emailed Education Scotland before the summer asking if there was a publication date for an updated version with details for CS or even a draft copy we could look at in the meantime.  Kirsty McFaul replied saying there was no date for an update.

    Update – from my enquiry to Kirsty McFaul:

     
    <p class=”MsoNormal”><span style=”font-family: ‘Arial’,’sans-serif’; color: #1f497d;”>”We have been given the go ahead from the CfE Management board to refresh the E’s and O’s in the Technologies with particular focus on Computing Science and digital literacy so the frameworks won’t be updated until we have completed the refresh of the e’s and o’s.  The refreshed Tech E’s and O’s should be published early 2017.”</span></p>
    No estimate on when the framework will be completed, and no notice to schools that everything is up in the air.

    Until we know have a framework and updated e&os there seems little point in reviewing my S1/S2 course as planned.
