    Hello everyone,
the following information has came into us – please feel free to share:

I’ve sent this email to a number of teachers who I think might be interested in some free events that we’re holding next weekend in Hamilton, just south of Glasgow.

Last year we received grant funding from the Raspberry Pi Foundation, RM and the Department for Education to organise a roadshow of Computing events for teachers and communities around Northern England. We received a number of requests from teachers in Scotland asking us to bring our roadshow North of the Border.

So, next weekend in response to requests, we will be holding three events. I realise that it’s fairly short notice and that you may already have other plans on, but if you’ll give me a moment – I’ll explain what’s on offer. Even if you can;t attend, you might be able to recommend it to some pupils you teach or other family members. You can read abut our roadshow here: http://www.jam-packed.uk/

Friday daytime: 09.30am – 1.30pm, you can observe us working with S2 pupils who will be exploring a range of resources including Raspberry Pi, Mozilla Hack The Web, Scratch & Python

All the events are free, but we recommend that you register beforehand. You don’t need any previous experience of Computing or any equipment to attend.

If there’s any questions you have, reply to this email and I’ll try my best to respond
