HTML & Business Teachers in S2

    We are currently reviewing our BGE course and I am keen to introduce HTML to S2. This isn’t a problem for the Computing Teachers in the faculty as everyone is well versed in the topic.

    This is more of a problem for our Business Teachers, who currently feel uncomfortable teaching HTML.

    Does anyone have any Business Teacher friendly BGE/Level 2,3,4 resources for HTML? Any advice?

    You might like to have a look at codedragon (https://codedragon.org/). It’s a block based system for HTML like scratch.

    More able pupils can edit the HTML directly but the structures for the pages and styles can just be dragged inand will only connect to the correct blocks.

    I’ve started playing about with it for N4/5 pupils but could easily see it being used in S1/2.
