TEMPORARY LECTURER – DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTING & DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES
Temporary lecturer in Computing (Pool)
£35,170-43,357 per annum
We have opportunities for motivated and committed individuals to join the computing lecturer pool within the Department of Computing & Digital Technologies. You will contribute to the delivery of Computing subjects across SCQF levels 4-8.
The successful applicants will ideally possess a Degree (SCQF Level 9) in a related subject area. Possession of a teaching qualification and some teaching experience is preferred, but not essential. We are also interested in applicants with significant industrial/commercial experience who are interested in moving into an educational setting.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in some of the following areas:
• Current programming languages and methodologies
• Data Science
• Cloud Technologies
• Unix/Linux/Windows Servers
• Microsoft Applications/365
• Cyber Security
• Artificial Intelligence
• Web Technologies
Excellent communication skills are essential.
The successful applicants may be required to deliver at any of the College’s main campuses, in private company training facilities or in an online environment.
