Hi folks,
Just wondering what kind of activities folk were undertaking with the BBC Micro Bits, if there’s anything that you’re particularly excited about or has been particularly engaging for the kids?

Not greatly innovative but I’ve made a small booklet of tasks to help non-computing schools in Highland use the micro:bits with their S1s. A few theory related tasks and simple programs for keychain, initials scrolling, a compass, a pedometer and a hold it steady game that can link to a phone.
Sadly with only 1 period of S1s and no S2 the Tech department in my school are going to run it in S1 next year. I’ll upload the files as Word although they are made to be done through Google so the electronic workbook is a little screwed up.
