Royal Society Report – Computing in Schools

Apologies if you have already heard, but the Royal Society today published the long anticipated report into School Computing. I’m still digesting it myself, but thought it might be worth flagging this up. Lots of interesting content and recommendations, one of which I particularly like:

Recommendation 2
“Education Scotland should ensure that the declared entitlement of all learners to third-level outcomes in Computing Science is implemented in all schools for all learners using appropriately qualified teachers.”
